Shareholders

Fifty-three municipalities are shareholders of Eneco Group. As a consequence of the unbundling of Eneco Holding NV in Stedin Holding NV and Eneco Group NV on 1 February 2017 and following an internal consultation process, a large number of municipal shareholders have indicated that they wish to sell their shares in Eneco Group. Shareholders, the Board of Management, and the Supervisory Board are determined and have decided unanimously, together with the Central Works Council, to continue the process of privatization of the company energetically.
